YAHARA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
DeForest Area School District
CLIENT: Eppstein Uhen Architects
As part of DeForest's $125 million referendum, the newly renovated Yahara Elementary School serves grades K-3 with collaborative, flexible learning environments that support evolving teaching and learning methods. Larger than life lily pads, grasses, and dragonflies create bold pond scenes along Yahara's corridors but in a simplified, modern aesthetic. The wall graphics tie in to the architectural theme of "flowing water" represented throughout the school.
